Video Game Creation Showcase
Below are select pieces of video content I have developed with client
National Grid (Shiny Happy Customers)
A project I worked on with National Grid ontop of the videos that were created for them was a video game that was pitched as a creative revamp and extension of a game that they already had made years ago. This game was called “Shiny Happy Customers” and the objective of the game is to visit customers that are experiencing power outages in the city as fast as possible with each customer scoring points when visited. The revamped game had completely new art style and perspective shift from fixed camera angles to a dynamic camera. The game also has extra features like a time limit and a live system as well as a points system to encourage replay-ability. This idea deployment that was in the brief was that the game would be shown to local schools and in the classes the kids would be competing to achieve the best score whilst also learning about the importance of National Grid and their workers / services.
The game was created using Unity, and I also used Adobe Creative Suite for alterations to sprites and UI.
